Light rail opening party at DTU

When the Capital Light Rail opens, there will be plenty of opportunities to explore technology, experiments and experiences along the route. At DTU Lyngby Campus, the opening will be marked by President Anders Bjarklev cutting a ribbon to symbolize that the light rail has now arrived on campus. At the new Anker Engelundsvej station, visitors can experience the DTU RoadRunners' gold-winning eco-car from Shell Eco-Marathon Europe 2025 and meet students who invite them inside for interactive exhibitions and simple experiments. At the Akademivej station, the Blue Dot project Vermillion Racing will be showing off their latest racing car, and with the racing simulator, visitors can get up close and personal with the feeling of speed. Here, you can also experience DTU Ravens' autonomous robots and drones in action. The day culminates with a big public festival at Gladsaxe Town Hall, where the DTU Scienceshow will entertain with wild physics and chemistry experiments for the whole family.
