Next Generation Digital Action is a global youth initiative led by DTU Skylab and DTU Sustain, offering two distinct tracks, Young Academics Track for students and Young Entrepreneurs Track for startups.

As a student, you will work in a team on a sustainability challenge as part of a 3-weeks June course and present your ideas at the Digital Tech Summit.

As a startup, you will work on your project and get input on your business development, inspiration and optional mentoring from experienced mentors. You will also be invited to present your idea and network at the Digital Tech Summit.

Program

• 15 May. | Registration deadline
• 3 Jun. | Kick-off (online)
• 4-26 Jun. | Innovation Journey (online)
• Aug. – Nov. | Summit readiness (online)
• 31st Oct. – 8th Nov | Copenhagen week, including Digital Tech Summit and get inspired.

Who can join?

The program is targeted at students and entrepreneurs up to 35 years of age and startup companies that are younger than five years.

🎓 Young Academics

The application process is different for students based in Denmark and Internationally.

Danish based students, who study at any Danish University or higher education programmes, bachelor, master or PhD can apply via the application link before. We like to see a mixture of study backgrounds in the program and there are no pre requisites courses needed. All we ask is that you are curious and driven to join an innovation challenge to solve global challenges.

For students based outside of Denmark, we accept students studying in Korea, India, Cyprus, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Colombia, Mexico and USA, through our national partners.You can write Björgvin Hjartarson, bjhj@dtu.dk to learn more.

🚀 Young Entrepreneurs

We are looking for entrepreneurs with an international mindset, who are passionate about developing solutions for a better future, within the overall thematic areas of the Next Generation Digital Action program.

We accept teams based in Denmark, Korea, India, Cyprus, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Colombia, Mexico and USA. Teams are selected and nominated for participation through our national innovationpartners. You can write Asger Riis Rasmussen arira@dtu.dk to learn more.
