My research focuses on supporting conservation agendas and ecosystem-based fisheries management for exploited fish species in both coastal and offshore habitats. This work integrates ecological processes, such as species interactions, species-habitat dynamics, and responses to environmental change, through the use of models, statistical data analysis, and field studies. Engaging with stakeholders and clearly communicating data and status assessments to wider audiences form a vital foundation of my research. CV of Mikael van Deurs
