Use DANS, DTU's digital application portal, to apply for admission to an MSc programme.

Programme availability for spring intake
- If your bachelor's degree was acquired outside Denmark, please note that the following programmes are not offered with a February study start:
- MSc in Environmental Engineering
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering
- MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship offers a single annual intake for all applicants: Autumn.
All other MSc programmes are offered for both autumn and spring intake.
Before you apply
Before you begin your application, prepare all required documents.
- Applications can be processed more efficiently when all required documentation is uploaded together. We therefore recommend preparing all documents before starting your application.
- Use a personal email address that you will continue to have access to in the future. You must use the same email address for all applications submitted to DTU.
How the application process works
1. Create your account
Create an account in DANS or sign in if you already have one.
- Use your personal email address.
- Use the same email address for all future applications to DTU.
- Keep your login details for future use.
2. Complete the application form
- Enter your personal information, required/other relevant/supporting documents and programme choices.
- You may apply for up to two MSc programmes in the same intake.
3. Upload your documents
- Upload all required documentation directly in DANS.
- DTU processes applications digitally and does not accept paper copies.
4. Review and submit
- Check that all information and documents are complete and correct before submitting your application.
5. Follow your application
- DANS is used for all communication regarding your application.
- Applicants are responsible for monitoring their application status and ensuring that they do not miss requests for additional documentation or admission decisions.
- Remember to check both your inbox and spam/junk folder regularly.
