New strategy for lifelong learning at DTU

With the new strategy, DTU will develop and offer lifelong learning for the benefit of society. This is realized with a focus on business partnerships and financial profitability of DTU’s departments and centres. The strategy is the result of thorough development work with the engagement of several department heads.

Facts

  • The foundation for lifelong learning and DTU Learn for Life was laid in 1997 when DTU’s Executive MBA was established.
  • DTU Learn for Life was established as an independent centre in 2019.
  • The centre is housed in building 421C, with a course centre including an Executive Auditorium and lounge, as well as offices for administration, marketing, and development.
  • Institutes and centres offer master's programmes, diploma programmes, flexible master's, individual courses, and short courses and programmes as lifelong learning in collaboration with DTU Learn for Life.
  • Programmes and courses are offered via a webshop, a wide range of sales activities, and through partnerships.
