Block copolymers Quasicrystals Aperiodic tilings ABC miktoarms Phase separation
Merin Joseph is an applied mathematician who works primarily in the theory of polymer phase separation. She received her Ph.D from the Department of Applied Mathematics at University of Leeds. The main objective of her thesis was to investigate and design block copolymers that can phase separate to self assemble into stable quasicrystal structures. In DTU, she joined Kristoffer's group as a postdoc working in the phase separation of ABC miktoarms. In addition to research, she is also keen to participate in outreach activities.
