Associate Professor
Position content:
- The primary tasks are research (including publication/scientific dissemination duties) and research-based teaching (with associated examination duties) and innovation, exchanging knowledge with society, research management, guidance and supervision of assistant professors and researchers, and academic assessments work.
- The division between the different tasks may vary and will be planned in consultation with the relevant head of department or through delegation. However, teaching and training work will typically account for 50 per cent of the working hours.
Senior Researcher
Position content:
The primary tasks are research (including publication/scientific dissemination duties) and scientific advice. Other tasks may include some teaching, as well as research management, guidance and supervision of assistant professors and researchers, and academic assessment work.
The division between the different tasks may vary and be planned in consultation with the relevant head of department.
Form and period of employment:
- The qualification requirement for an associate professor / senior researcher position corresponds to the level that can be achieved through employment as an assistant professor / researcher and the qualification requirements for the position, which are:
- Documented scientific production/publication and research potential at international level
- The capacity to contribute to the department’s national and international partnerships, including dissemination of research results and contribution to research-based innovation in society.
- Normally permanent, but may be fixed-term.
- Associate Professors / Senior Researchers receive a pensionable supplement of DKK 87,900 per year in line with the March 31, 2012 level.
- The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations.
