Conference on Advancing Deep Tech Innovation in the EU
Under the Danish EU Presidency, DTU is hosting an innovation conference at Scandic Hotel Copenhagen. The conference focuses on accelerating and scaling up deep tech innovation across Europe.
In collaboration with the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, DTU is bringing together key stakeholders from Europe’s innovation ecosystem for the ASCEND Innovation Conference. The aim is to strengthen Europe's competitiveness and technological sovereignty.
Europe is in the middle of a global technology race. The development and commercialisation of advanced deep tech solutions – such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, biotechnology, and emerging green energy technologies – will be crucial to Europe’s future economy, security, and welfare.
Over the course of three days in Copenhagen and at DTU, policymakers from EU, investors, startups, researchers, and industry leaders will gather to discuss and put forward concrete recommendations on how more deep tech companies can gain a foothold in Europe – and how the conditions for scaling up can be improved.
The conference is organised by DTU on behalf of the Danish EU Presidency, in collaboration with the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. It is funded by the European Commission and the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
On 24 November from 16:30–20:30, DTU is hosting a pre-event for the conference.
