Microbes in the Spotlight - DTU Microbes Conference 2025

Whether it is to showcase your work, expand your network, find new collaborations or just enjoy hearing about top innovative science, join us for what promises to be a dynamic and inspiring day.
The conference will bring together DTU researchers, alumni, industry professionals, and other experts to explore the latest insights, technologies, innovations, and solutions in microbes-related research.
This year we put the spotlight on three areas where microbes are making the headlines:
1) Microbial communities,
2) Microbes for biotechnological applications,
3) Microbiology for solving global future challenges.
You will also have the opportunity to showcase your own work as one of the 4 selected presenters in each session or during the poster session to engage with fellow researchers and professionals in the field. The poster winner will be announced during dinner, where we will be hearing about microbiology applied art.
Do remember to submit your abstract by 28 February to microbes-initiative@dtu.dk to be considered as one of the 12 selected speakers. Speakers will be selected by the Early Career Association Committee.
The symposium is free of charge.
