Panel talk at DTU: When art and science meet in addressing climate challenges

You can join a conversation about how art can contribute to reflection and innovation in a research setting.

On Wednesday, 28 May, DTU and the New Carlsberg Foundation invite you to an exciting panel talk at the new Climate Challenge Laboratory on DTU Lyngby Campus.

Here, visual artist Tue Greenfort, professor at DTU Energy Tejs Vegge, and architect and art advisor Tyra Dokkedahl come together for a conversation about the role of art in scientific reflection and rethinking climate solutions. The discussion will take as its starting point the four artworks that Tue Greenfort has created for the Climate Challenge Laboratory - Building 313, where students and researchers work on solutions to current climate challenges.

Focusing on the intersection between art, science and climate, the panel will discuss how aesthetic expressions can contribute to reflection and innovation in a research context.

In continuation of the discussion, Toke Lykkeberg, board member of the New Carlsberg Foundation, will give an introduction to the art project - and the audience will have the opportunity to experience the four artworks in the building.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
