How to apply for the Industry Master of Science

Pre-requisites

You must hold a qualifying bachelor’s degree to apply for our Industry MSc programmes. In addition, you must have a job that is relevant to your studies, where you can work at least 25 hours a week on average over a year, or you may be self-employed at a start-up company.

Application process, deadlines and requirements

The application procedure and deadlines are similar to the ones that apply to the 2-year MSc programme.

Additionally, you must ensure the following:

  1. Choose the right programme model at the time of applying
  2. Complete this mandatory employee template stating your employment status no later than four weeks before you start your semester studies on the Industry track.
    • If you are following the 4-year model, the template has to be uploaded to the application portal, DANS for review and approval.
    • If you are following the 1+2 year model, the template has to be submitted to Study Administration studadm@adm.dtu.dk for review and approval, towards the end of completion of the requirements of the 1st year of studies and no later than four weeks before you start your semester studies on the Industry track.

Non-EU/EEA citizens with a Danish residence permit can apply for the Industry Master of Science program. It is strongly recommended that applicants first check the rules and impact on the current permit with the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration.
