Fees, funding and permits for the BSc in General Engineering

Application fee

Please note that all non-EU/EEA applicants are required to pay an application fee of € 100 before your application is processed.

The deadline for paying the fee is 15 March. On receipt of the application fee, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the applicant.

Please note that your application will not be processed until we have received your application fee payment.

No refunds are given if your application is rejected or if you are admitted but choose to withdraw your application. It is not possible to defer your studies.

If your application is successful, the application fee will be deducted from the first tuition fee payment that you make to DTU (i.e. your first tuition fee payment will be € 7,400 instead of € 7,500).

Exemptions for non-EU/EEA Citizens

If you have a “permanent residence permit” you are exempt from paying the application fee. If you have a “time limited residence permit issued with a possibility of permanent residence in Denmark” it may allow for an exemption from the application fee but requires the submission of residence permit documents to confirm this. Please include a copy of your residence permit and cover letter with the application.

You have to pay your application fee in the DTU web shop. Please make sure to open it with Google Chrome browser. Before you make your payment please read through the web shop guide, which will tell you how to make a correct payment.
