The position of Executive Vice President, Provost is broad, and the right candidate has research experience, at least at the associate professor level within the technical-scientific field, and substantial knowledge of Danish university conditions.
A visionary leader with strategic responsibility
In addition to having formal line responsibility for the Directors of DTU Nanolab and DTU Offshore, DTU's Provost focuses on excellent research, innovation, infrastructure, research evaluations, guidelines for international collaborations and DTU's PhD programme.
The Provost must also coordinate and optimize special research applications with the departments and ensure good relations with foundations and the business community at home and abroad. The position will involve some travelling.
