DTU's Building 208 is in the running for prominent award

DTU's Building 208 at DTU Lyngby Campus is among 18 renovation projects that have been shortlisted for Renoverprisen 2025.

Building 208 also benefits students outside the building. There are many benches in the area around Building 208, so you can, for example, eat your lunch outdoors. Photo: Kontraframe/Thorbjørn Hansen.

Facts

Realdania and Grundejernes Investeringsfond initiated the Renovation Award in 2013. The purpose of the prize is to honour good renovation projects. Projects that, rather than demolishing buildings and building new ones, focus on renovating existing ones, thereby saving the earth's resources and reducing the climate impact of construction. A total of 131 renovation projects were nominated for the 2025 award. Of these, 18 have been shortlisted.
