NeuroImaging Complex Networks Machine Learning Unsupervised Learning

Morten Mørup is Professor at the Section for Cognitive Systems, DTU Compute. Morten's research focuses on Machine Learning for the life sciences. In particular, his field of research is machine learning and data science where he researches methods for unsupervised learning and pattern recognition in particular with focus on multi-way/tensor decomposition approaches, statistical complex network modeling approaches and Bayesian inference with applications to life-science data. He received in 2008 the degree of PhD at DTU Informatics. During his PhD Morten visited Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley as a guest researcher. In 2006 Morten received an EliteForsk travel scholarship from the ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Eductation, in 2008 Director Peter Gorm-Petersens memorial scholarship and in 2012 he was awarded a Lundbeck Foundation Fellowship, and in 2021 he received Ingeborg og Leo Dannins Scholarship for Scientific Research.
