Scientific advice

Offering scientific advice to public sector authorities, industries, and international institutions is one of DTU’s core activities.

In fact, no less than 1/5 of all DTU employees work with advice and thus contribute significantly to knowledge transfer and informed decision-making in society.

With a combined turnover of more than EUR 107 million (nationally and internationally), DTU is one of the main providers of scientific advice in Denmark.

EU Reference Laboratory

DTU has been appointed EU Reference Laboratory for

• pesticides in cereals and feeding stuff (EURL-CF)
• processing contaminants in food (EURL-PC)
• metals and nitrogenous compounds in feed and food (EURL-MN)
• fish and crustacean diseases 
• antimicrobial resistance
