DTU offers an Industry Master program, which gives your company the opportunity to hire soon to be engineers. DTU offers the Industry Master programmes in two different models:
- The 1+2 model, which follows a structure where the student completes the first year as a full-time student at DTU, and then for the last two years works a minimum of 25 hours pr. week at your company while studying part-time.
- The four-year model, which follows a structure where the student is both a part-time student and works a minimum of 25 hours pr. week at your company during all four years.

Requirements for hiring an Industry Master student
To hire an Industry Master your company must offer a position within the student’s field of study, with a minimum of 25 hours pr. week allocated throughout the year.
- With the 1+2 model the student will work a minimum of 25 hours pr. week during the last two years of the programme.
- With the four-year model the student will work a minimum of 25 hours pr. week during the entire four years of the programme.
The work hours should be planned in a way that allows the student to follow his or her study plan. As such there will be periods where the student has to work less than 25 hours. pr. week – but there will also be periods where the student is able to work more than 25 hours pr. week.
The Industry Master student must be integrated at the workplace at the same level as the full-time employees, and this has to be reflected in the salary as well.
