Electronics - Study line

Electronics

The Electronics study line includes two study areas: power electronics and integrated circuit (IC) design. The Electronics study line provides a solid foundation and specialized knowledge in power electronics and IC design. Graduates have excellent prospects for employment in various industries, contributing to the advancement of technology and the development of innovative electronic systems and devices.

The study area in Power Electronics focuses on the efficient power conversion, control, and management of electrical power. Graduates specializing in power electronics often find employment opportunities in industries such as power supply, renewable energy, electric vehicles, industrial automation, and power systems. Companies in Denmark such as Danfoss Power Electronics, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Grundfos and Vestas are known for their involvement in power electronics and often hire graduates to contribute to the development of advanced power electronic devices, converters, and systems.

The study area in IC Design focuses on the design and development of integrated circuits, which are essential components in various electronic devices such as smartphones, computers, and medical equipment. Graduates specializing in IC design can find employment in Danish companies like Infineon Technologies Denmark A/S, GN, Demant, and NVIDIA, where they contribute to the design, verification, and testing of complex integrated circuits. They work on developing high-performance processors, wireless communication chips, or specialized integrated circuits for the hearing aid industry.
