Hearing Science and Perception
This specialization is aimed at students who are interested in the human perception of sound, psychoacoustics, hearing science, speech and communication acoustics. The courses suggested in this specialization cover topics in auditory modelling, cognitive science, signal processing, acoustic communication and audiology. These competences prepare you to work in the hearing aid industry, healthcare, medical technology, audio industry and research institutions.

Specializations are merely recommended ways of choosing the courses in the curriculum. Applicants are not admitted to a specialization but to the programme and it is possible to choose among all the courses in the curriculum following the directions given. However, if a specialization has been fulfilled the title of the specialization may be added to the diploma.
