Specialization: Production and Project Management
Production and project management are critical fields essential for the success of any organization. Production management involves the planning, scheduling, and controlling of manufacturing processes, while project management involves the planning, execution, and control of specific projects to achieve specific goals.
It is a multi-disciplinary field that draws upon engineering, business, and management knowledge. The focus of this study line is to help organizations improve their production processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and achieve their strategic goals.
The specialization covers various topics, including project, program, and portfolio management, risk management, complexity management, mass customization, and development of product/service systems. By studying these topics, you can gain insights into how to optimize production processes and manage projects effectively.

You can only register 50 ECTS in the Programme specific catagory. If you take more courses, the ECTS exceeding this will be registered as electives.
Master's thesis
If doing a thesis on 32.5 or 35 ECTS, the ECTS exceeding 30 will be taken from the elective category. E.g., if writing a 35 ECTS thesis, you will only have 25 ECTS electives available.
Specializations are merely recommended ways of choosing the courses in the curriculum. Applicants are not admitted to a specialization but to the programme and it is possible to choose among all the courses in the curriculum following the directions given. However, if a specialization has been fulfilled the title of the specialization may be added to the diploma.
