Student life at Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering
We prioritize admitting BSc with different background to the MSc programme in Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering. This is done with the explicit aim of reflecting the mix of professional skills used in professional pharma teams. Thus, as part of the MSc programme, students get to know the different professional disciplines of their future colleagues.
This means that the master program comprises both DTU bachelors and diploma engineers from different study directions as well as bachelors from other universities and other types of bachelor programs.
In addition, the Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering master is run as a joint effort by six different DTU departments, giving the Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering student the opportunity to get in touch with a whole range of different expertises. The departments involved are DTU Vet, DTU Food, DTU Chemistry, DTU Systems biology, DTU Nanotech and DTU Chemical Engineering.
