Examination for guest students at DTU

When you are enrolled in a class, you are automatically registered to take the examination. You have three examination attempts in each course. However, you may not register to re-sit an examination in courses for which you have already earned a grade of 2 or above (7-point grading scale), pass or approved.

You are entitled to sit an examination for a course even though no classes have been taught if you failed the course during the preceding semester or registered as ill at the examination held during the preceding semester.

You may withdraw from an examination. The withdrawal deadlines can be found on DTU's intranet DTU Inside (login required). After the withdrawal deadline, your enrolment will count as an examination attempt. Please contact Study Administration to register to re-sit an examination in the following sessions:

• Re-sit for a winter examination: 15 October – 1 November
• Re-sit for a summer examination: 1 April – 15 April
