Required documentation when applying for the BSc in General Engineering
Below is a list of the documentation you need to upload when you apply for admission to DTU. If your documentation is not in one of the Nordic languages or English, please ensure that an authorised translator has translated your diploma and transcripts into English. Your CV and personal statement, however, must be written in English.
For application through all quotas, please include the following:
- Diploma from your upper secondary exam/high school exam, including grade transcripts, in both the original language and an English translation carried out by an authorised translator. You can apply even though you have not graduated yet, but you must submit your final grades and diploma by 5 July at noon to be part of the current year's intake.
- Statement of hours form (does not apply to applicants with an upper secondary exam from the Nordic countries, IB, EB, A/AS levels, and American high school)
- Transcripts/diplomas from completed or in-progress college and university studies
- Transcripts/diplomas for any English language test/supplementary courses you may have taken
- A power of attorney if you wish for someone else to act on your behalf
- A copy of your passport/residence permit, if you are not an EU citizen
If there is a lack of documentation, you will receive messages via UnistartDTU with deadlines for submitting the documents.
For application through quota 2, you also have to include the following:
- A receipt showing you have paid the application fee, if applicable
- A personal statement (must be submitted by 15 March at noon)
- A CV
- Documentation in support of any relevant quota 2 activities
If there is a lack of documentation, you will receive messages via UnistartDTU with deadlines for submitting the documents.
