Basic research centres
The Danish National Research Foundation supports curiosity-driven frontline research of the highest quality in Denmark. A centre grant is large and flexible, and the basic research centres provide a unique framework for excellent research. Centres can be established within and across all areas of research.
DTU has 8 basic research centres:
- Center for Nanostructured Graphene (CNG)
- Center for Silicon Photonics for Optical Communications (SPOC)
- Center for Intelligent Drug Delivery and Sensing Using Microcontainers and Nanomechanics (IDUN)
- Center for Hyperpolarization in Magnetic Resonance (HYPERMAG)
- Center for Macroscopic Quantum States (BigQ)
- Center for Microbial Secondary Metabolites (CeMiSt)
- Center for NanoPhotonics (NanoPhoton)
- Center for Visualizing Catalytic Processes (VISION)
