Global Bioeconomy Alliance

Purpose

The Global Bioeconomy Alliance (GBA) is an international alliance consisting of a strong network of universities from around the world, leading in bioeconomy and biosolutions.

Through research and educational collaboration, GBA aims to promote biosolutions globally and learn from each other in the implementation of bioeconomic solutions.

The alliance today consists of:

  • Technical University of Munich (Germany)
  • University of Queensland (Australia)
  • Universidade Estadual Paulista (Brazil)
  • Tec de Monterrey (Mexico)
  • DTU

Activities

  • Research collaborations
  • An annual conference to bring together relevant researchers and stakeholders across countries
  • Educational collaboration with a focus on bioeconomy
