Engineers capable of combining technical skills with an understanding of how data can be used to create value for companies and society.
A Master’s in Business Analytics prepares you to work with advanced methods from data science and optimization to solving critical business challenges. You will not only be able to work and manipulate data but, most importantly, you will learn how to transform data to actionable decisions that meet value creation goals.

The programme is based on four core competences in the areas of: statistics, computer science, operational analysis (optimization), and management (business).
During the course of study, you will work with quantitative methods, such as descriptive statistics, forecasting, clustering, simulation, and optimization as well as qualitative methods for analysing, managing, and implementing data-driven projects in business and society.
The MSc is a two-year graduate programme with a workload of 120 ECTS credit points.
This study programme is also available as an Industry study programme where you can combine work and study over a 4-year period. Special rules apply.

MSc Eng graduates from Business Analytics will likely find jobs in banks, large production and service companies, in the transport industry, or in research institutions. Examples of such companies in Denmark are: Danske Bank, Novo Nordisk, Movia, Grundfos, DSB, Hermes Traffic Intelligence, Leo Pharma, and Copenhagen Optimization.
