The MSc Eng in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering has the following optional specializations.
Specializations
The MSc programme offers the opportunity to specialise within one of the following specializations:
- Earth Observation
- Earth and Planetary Physics
- Mapping and Navigation
- Space Research
- Space System Engineering
Specializations are fixed programs of study that have extra requirements compared to the general MSc program. Graduates of these specialisations therefore earn the right to get the specialisation title on their diplomas. Additional information, including recommended elective courses and relevant project supervisors, can be found on the webpage of each specialization.
Specializations are merely recommended ways of choosing the courses in the curriculum. Applicants are not admitted to a specialization but to the programme and it is possible to choose among all the courses in the curriculum following the directions given. However, if a specialization has been fulfilled the title of the specialization may be added to the diploma.
