Rødbyhavn

Denmark's largest infrastructure project and the world's longest immersed tunnel is being built in Rødbyhavn.

DTU is part of the Femern Knowledge and Learning Centre, and there is a formal collaboration with Sund & Bælt, COWI and Ramboll on the Femern Challenge Lab.

Based on the Femern construction project, DTU wants to develop students' competences within sustainable mega-infrastructure. Courses, projects and internships provide an opportunity to combine theory with practice.

For both students and researchers, it is valuable to gain insight into real-life issues from the Fehmarnbelt project that can contribute to future mega-infrastructure projects.

President after 7 years as chairman of Universities Denmark: Now my voice will be used for DTU

Anders Bjarklev will step down as chairman of the Rectors’ Conference of Universities Denmark, where he has advocated for universities in the education debate during his seven years in office. He will still make his voice heard, but now as President of DTU.
