Sisimiut

DTU's campus in Sisimiut offers a good physical environment for both education and research, with classrooms, offices, laboratories, workshops and a fablab.
DTU, the Government of Greenland, Tech College Greenland (KTI) and other partners offer the two vocational Bachelor of Engineering programmes Fisheries Technology and Arctic Construction and Infrastructure in Sisimiut. In addition, the two international master's programmes Arctic Mineral Resources and Cold Climate Engineering are offered in collaboration with universities in the Nordic countries.
The programmes teach students how to deal with special climate and natural conditions that are necessary for planning, collaborating and performing tasks in Arctic areas. They also gain general engineering competences in areas such as construction, civil engineering, energy, fishing and hunting, food production and sustainable seafood management. This gives students a general engineering education specialising in Arctic conditions. They can use it all over the world.
DTU is also involved in a wide range of research activities and projects in Greenland and the Arctic region.
