Intro days

DTU welcomes you as a new bachelor's student with three intro days. We have organized the intro days so you have time to get to know your fellow students while also receiving a thorough introduction to DTU as a university and your study programme.

When?

27–29 August 2025

Where?

Lyngby Campus

As a new student, there are many new things to take in all at once. During the intro days, we have prepared a programme that allows you to get to know your fellow students while also receiving a helpful and practical introduction to DTU as a university and your new study programme.

Something unique to DTU is that the intro days also allow you to meet students from other study programmes in smaller groups. We call these cross-group sessions.

The intro days include a morning, afternoon, and evening programme. We expect you to participate in the official programme daily from around 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We hope you’ll also want to stay for the afternoon and evening activities, focusing primarily on the social side and getting to know each other better.

We are still finalizing the schedule, so the detailed program for the intro days will be updated on this page in early August. Be sure to check the website as the dates approach.

Who organizes the intro days?

The intro days are organized in collaboration between DTU, our KABS (study start coordinators), the vectors—all of whom are volunteer students already studying at DTU—and the academic community, including heads of study and first-semester lecturers.
